Car buying advice

A new car is fun, but only if you paid a fair price for it. Sometimes, however, defects appear after the purchase that you hadn't noticed before. If these defects go beyond normal wear and tear, you have a one-year warranty when buying from a dealer.

Sold as seen?

To avoid problems beforehand, the vehicle should be inspected by an independent specialist before purchase. We check for any prior damage and provide you with suitable arguments for price negotiations during our buyer's consultation.

Expert reviewing documents for car buying advice

Use the following checklist as a guide when making your purchase:

  1. Does the vehicle have obvious defects such as rust, dents, or warped parts? Does the engine make strange noises or is there a grinding sound while driving? Then you should immediately refrain from buying it!
  2. Check the seller's information. Carefully examine the vehicle registration certificate and title. Are there any old vehicle documents? If so, have any changes been made since then?
  3. Is the vehicle accident-free? Is the mileage correct? Have the seller confirm these facts separately in writing.
  4. Are all maintenance services recorded in the service booklet? Have the service intervals been adhered to? Is the mandatory vehicle inspection due soon? These are tasks that the seller can take care of for you.

This list is, of course, only a starting point. If you feel that something isn't quite right with your desired car, we'll gladly check it for you.
